Bessarabia - is a unique multinational tourist area in the south of Ukraine, Lipovans and Bulgarians, Moldovans and Gagauz, Ukrainians and Russians live here. Here they enjoy real delicious wine, taste the fish called "dunajka",fish and surprised by the beauty of virgin nature. Bessarabia is the very place that you should definitely visit.

Day 1:Arrival in the town of Izmail. Meeting the group with a guide. We are leaving for the town of Vilkovo. Today us awaits a sightseeing tour of the town, which is called "Ukrainian Venice" and it is the only town in Europe, which is located on the territory of the Biosphere Reserve "Danube Floodplains". The uncommonness of the city is that part of it is located on the water. Instead of streets, there are canals, on which people move, mainly, on a peculiar Ukrainian "gondolas" and motor boats. These channels are called eriks. Simple wooden bridges are thrown across the eriks. We will get to know the old part of the town and we will see Orthodox and Old Believer churches. Next, we will go by water transport to "0 km" - the place where the Danube River and the Black Sea meet. Just imagine - more than 2.5 thousand kilometers is the path of the Danube, which flows into the sea right here, in a small man-made town - Vilkovo.

The nature here is full of life, many species of plants, animals, birds are included in the "Red Book".We will see a lot of exotic birds, who a leaving in abundance in floodplains; these are pink pelicans, brant goose, striped hawks and the famous white-tailed eagles.

Lunch time! Picnic at the tourist parking. Fish soup, fried or grilled fish,sheep cheese, fresh vegetables, wine "Novak" and herbal tea from an old wood samovar.

Departure to the town of Izmail. Check in hotel. Lodging for the night.


Day 2: Breakfast. We start the excursion program with a walk along the embankment, on the territory of which there is a natural-historical park of memory "Fortress"; a monument to the heroes "Eagle", St. Nicholas Monastery and a mosque of the 16th century - the only structure that has survived from the Turkish fortress. Visiting to the Diorama "Storming the fortress of Izmail". Here we will have an exciting excursion and will know about the most interesting
facts related to the storming of the fortress and the history of the city.

Then we are going to the center of Izmail and continue our bus-walking excursion "Izmail - the capital of the Danube region": Monuments to Tuchkov and Suvorov, Pokrovsky Cathedral and the central fountain.

Departure to the village of Krinichnoe. At different times, the village had different names, and the present one comes from the Ukrainian word "krynytsya" - a well. And Indeed, the village of Krinichnoye is a real bottomless well of livability and well-being - it is a region of fruitful agricultural land, grain farming and viticulture. And it is exactly here where the private winery "Kolonist" is located. The wines are made from their own grapes, which are grown in the best grape zone on the coastal, south-western slopes of Lake Yalpug. Excursion through the vineyards: the history of formation of the winery, the secrets of growing and processing vineyards.
