Izmail is the largest port on the Danube, belonging to Ukraine. Cruise liners stop here, many popular excursion routes along the Danube and European countries begin and end here. We will be starting our tour program "By the olden glory of the fortress of Izmail" with a visit to the natural-historical park of memory "Fortress": Monastery Gate or Monastery arc - one of the city's brightest attractions historical and architectural value. The Holy Pokrovsky Cathedral was erected on the site of the old St. Nicholas Church. The bells been casted from melted Turkish guns - weighing 700 pounds.
Then we will walk along the Greek Square and enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee. We will visit "Park of Memory", the first trees of which were planted 100 years ago. An interesting object of the city of Izmail is the House of Culture named after T.G. Shevchenko, where well-known all-Ukrainian theater troupes often come and delight the audience with their artistic
skills.
