10:00 - Arrival in the city of Vilkovo - the land where the beauties of nature and the creations of human hands are concentrated in a small space.

For lovers of a serene relaxing holiday in this green town, the color of which is largely determined by the proximity of the Danube River, there is a pine forest, lakes, and the Black Sea is very close. All nature lives in boundary peace between sea and river, between floods and low water.
For many centuries, the Danube sculpted the face of the Danube Delta in its own way.

The waters of the mighty river crashed down on the man-made banks of sladge, forming giant backwaters and islands. The huge Danube delta, the age of which is more than 5 million years old, and the Kiliya delta began to form about 300 years ago. And involuntarily you will think about what kind of forces of nature managed to create this amazing land of new islands, kuts, spits, backwaters, huge accumulation of birds and rare plant species.

Our tour to Vilkovo begins with a walk along the bridges and masonry through the canals, along which the inhabitants of the city move by boats. We will see the Old Believer church, learn about the traditions and peculiarities of the Lipovan’s way of life.

Next, a romantic boat trip along the Danube delta to the green island parking lot will be awaiting us.
We will sail on the ship to the spit at "0 km". They say that to visit here and pass under it is considered a good omen - this will bring good luck and health. Just think about it - more than 2.5 thousand kilometers makes up the path of Danube, which flows into the sea right here, in a small man-made town - Vilkovo.

Further, after all the excursions and walks, an unforgettable recreation time awaits us: Picnic at the island tourist with Bessarabian fresh-soup cooked on a wood fire, the famous local wine "Novak", herbal tea on herbs from an antique wood-burning samovar, rest on the river bank, swimming, fishing.
